Barbara Berry is a Media Coordinator and National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT) at Githens Middle School in Durham, North Carolina, and has worked with teens for over 15 years. Heather Booth is the Teen and Tween Services Coordinator at the Thomas Ford Memorial Library in Western Springs, Illinois. She is the editor of The Whole Library Handbook: Teen Services (ALA Editions, 2014) with Karen Jensen, a contributor at the Teen Librarian Toolbox, and a speaker on readers' advisory and teen services librarianship.

Brannen, Jennifer
Jennifer Brannen has been a librarian for close to a decade and is currently an Adult Services Manager at Durham County Library. Like whiskers on kittens, RA is one of her favorite things. She writes and presents about readers’ advisory for adults, teens, and tweens, and contributed a chapter to Integrated Advisory Service: Breaking Through the Book Boundary to Better Library Users. Robin Brenner is a Reference and Teen librarian currently working at the Brookline Public Library in Brookline, MA. She has been an advocate for comics and graphic novels for over ten years as a librarian and as editor-in-chief of the review site No Flying No Tights. She has written for journals including School Library Journal, Library Journal, VOYA, and Early Word.

Brown, Susan
Susan Brown took her first library job to earn beer money while in college.  After several years in academic and government libraries, she finally found her true calling behind the reference and reader's advisory desk at a public library. She has an M.L.S. from UNC at Chapel Hill and has worked at libraries in Virginia, North Carolina, and Kansas. She is currently the Director at Chapel Hill Public Library in Chapel Hill  NC and is passionate about readers' services, social media, and marketing and merchandising for public libraries. Ms. Toni Buzzeo, a certified school librarian, is the author of nineteen picture books for children and eleven professional books for librarians and educators.

Clare Byers recently graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill's School of Information and Library Science, and she is currently working at the Southern Pines Public Library near Fort Bragg. 

Charles, John
John Charles is an Adult Services Librarian for the Scottsdale (AZ) Public Library. In addition to reviewing for Library Journal and Booklist, Charles is the co-author of The Readers' Advisory Guide to Mystery 2nd Ed. Chelton, Mary K.
Mary K. Chelton is a professor in the Graduate School of Library and Information Studies at Queens College/CUNY, the first ever Librarian of the Year of the Romance Writers of America, and a huge fan of military romances.

Clark, Craig
Craig Clark has worked as a branch manager, circulation manager, and public services librarian for several libraries in Ohio. He served on the RUSA CODES Reading List Committee and Notable Books Council. In 2014, he co-authored the book Read On...Sports: Reading Lists for Every Taste.   

Colson, Diane
Diane Colson is a librarian living in Gainesville, Florida. She reviews books for Booklist, BookPage, and School Library Journal's Adult4Teens column.

Heather Cunningham is a former teen librarian and avid reader of fantasy, historical fiction and romance. She currently works in early childhood at an international school in Switzerland and has developed a newfound appreciation for silly picture books.

Davis, Sarah S.

Freeman, Judy
Judy Freeman (www.JudyReadsBooks.com) is a well-known consultant, writer, and speaker on children’s literature, and the author of The Winners! Handbook: A Closer Look at Judy Freeman’s Top-Rated Children’s Books of 2010 (Libraries Unlimited, 2011; www.LU.com); Books Kids Will Sit Still For 3 (2006); and Once Upon a Time!: Using Storytelling, Creative Drama, and Reader’s Theater with Children in Grades K-6 (2007), winner of the 2009 Anne Izard Storytellers’ Choice Award. Judy served as a member of the 2000 Newberry Committee, 2008 Sibert Committee, and is a member of the 2014 Caldecott Committee.

Georges, Althea
Althea Georges is a Children's Librarian at the New York Public Library. When not plotting new ways to get kids excited about books, she's busy dabbling in Final Fantasy. 

Guevara, Beatriz
Beatriz Guevara is the Scaleybark Branch Manager at the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library. On her own time, she volunteers as the Immediate Past President of REFORMA, the National Association to Promote Library & Information Services to Latinos and the Spanish Speaking. Beatriz is passionate about serving minorities and is a strong advocate for diversity in public libraries.

Harris, Marlene
Marlene Harris is a well-travelled technical services librarian who currently shares her love of books and reading on her blog, Reading Reality, and as a contributor to the online magazine Sci-Fi Romance Quarterly.

Hatch, Jennifer Stubben
Jennifer Stubben Hatch is a librarian and former staff member at NoveList. She currently lives in Germany.

Havens, Lauren
Though Lauren Havens has worked at several libraries in the past, she is currently working at a tech startup in the New York area where she focuses on the knowledge management needs of tech teams within the organization.

Higgins, Christen
Christen Higgins worked for Charlotte Mecklenburg Library as a programming library service specialist for 5 1/2 years before transitioning to the Charlotte Mecklenburg School system as a media specialist. She considers herself the Willy Wonka of library services because she believes libraries are like a factory full of treats (she’s also slightly crazy and loves top hats).

Nanci Milone Hill is the Director of the M.G. Parker Memorial Library in Dracut, Massachusetts.  She has a weakness for paranormal romances.

Patrick Holt is an Adult Services Librarian at Durham County Library and a co-organizer of the Durham Comics Fest.

Hunter, Christyna
Despite being born with a disability, Christyna Hunter has surpassed all perilous predictions. She graduated from college, where a friend introduced her to romance novels, started a freelance writing career, self-published two romance novels, and worked at a non-profit organization. Currently, she works as a library associate with Loudon County Public Library in Virginia, reads romance novels in her free time, and prays often to her writing muse. Jackson, Carol
Carol Jackson is a Branch Manager in the Ramsey County Library (MN) system. She serves on the steering committee of the Readers’ Advisory Roundtable of the Minnesota Library Association and is thoroughly devoted to all things readers’ advisory.

Jacob, Merle
Merle Jacob was the Director of Library Collection Development at the Chicago Public Library. She is very involved in both RUSA and PLA of the American Library Association. She has also done numerous programs on collection development, weeding, readers' advisory, and the mystery genre for many libraries and library associations around the country. In 2002, she was awarded the Allie Beth Martin Award in recognition of her extraordinary knowledge of books and the ability to share that knowledge with others. She has also written the book To Be Continued: Fiction in Sequels 2nd edition (2000) and many articles for library journals.

Michael Jenkins is a writer, community activist, and avid vegetable gardener in Wilmington, NC.

Johnson, Sarah
Sarah Johnson, a longtime reader and collector of historical novels, is the author of Historical Fiction II (Libraries Unlimited, 2009) and its predecessor, Historical Fiction: A Guide to the Genre (2005). In her capacity as book review editor for the Historical Novels Review, she writes and edits book reviews and has interviewed many authors and editors in the field. All of this notwithstanding, she also enjoys other types of genre fiction, especially mystery, fantasy, and romance. Sarah has been a librarian since 1994 and works as a reference librarian at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois.

Bethany M. Latham, Associate Professor and Electronic Resources/Documents Librarian at Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama, is Managing Editor of the Historical Novels Review.

Previously, she worked as a children's librarian in public libraries and has taught graduate level children's literature courses. She has served on various ALSC committees including the Theodor Seuss Geisel Award Committee.

Smith, Zack
Zack Smith (www.zswriter.com) is a longtime comics scholar and journalist who has written for a number of top comic book sites and publications. His work has been included as supplemental materials in the collection Absolute All-Star Superman and was part of journalism that received the Eisner, comics' top award.

Spratford, Becky
Becky Spratford is a Readers' Advisor in Illinois specializing in serving patrons ages 13 and up. She trains library staff all over the world on how to match books with readers through the local public library.  She runs the popular and critically acclaimed RA training blog RA for All, and is on the Steering Committee of the Adult Reading Round Table. She is under contract to provide content for EBSCO’s NoveList database and writes reviews for Booklist. Becky is also known for her work with horror readers as the author of The Reader’s Advisory Guide to Horror, Second Edition [ALA Editions, 2012] and is a proud member of the Horror Writers Association, who honored her as a special guest of honor at StokerCon 2017 for her contribution to the genre. You can follow Becky on Twitter @RAforAll.
