Reading the right book at the right time
It’s been one year since the NoveList baton was passed along to the next generation of readers’ advisory experts. Lucky for us, however, Duncan Smith continues to offer us inspiration on the connection between books and our daily lives. In this month’s issue of Booklist Online, Duncan shares a personal conversation on this very topic and reminds of us his own devotion to books and readers.

Come see us at ALA 2019!
Librarians, including librarians from NoveList, are converging on Washington D.C. for the ALA Annual Conference. We hope that you’ll also take the time to stop by the EBSCO Booth #2533 in the Exhibit Hall and get some insider information on what’s new and forthcoming from NoveList.

EveryLibrary and LibraryAware voting YES on libraries
When I was growing up, my parents always took me with them when they went to vote -- every single election; general, primary, special, local, national. They taught my brother and me that you always vote. You always show up. Moreover, they also taught us that when it came to ballot measures on budgets that fund libraries and education, you always vote YES. I am thrilled to share and to be a part of this partnership with Novelist and EveryLibrary to work with five libraries on their 2019 campaigns.
