With my people at ALAMW19

It’s been a minute since I worked in a library but when I go to a conference, it doesn’t take me long to get back into full-on librarian mindset–trolling publishers’ booths for hot-n-fresh ARCs, failing to resist picking up cool swag, and fangirling over authors.

An ALA MW trip highlight for me was most certainly a tour of the magnificent Seattle Public Library (is it possible to take a bad photo there? I think not); my visit coincided with Rally for Libraries getting cranked up.

The best thing, tho, is just that feeling of being with ‘my’ people. Knowing that if I turn to someone, whether in an elevator, on the ubiquitous escalators, or queueing for a book signing, there will likely be delightful book conversation. Kinda like the feeling I have working at NoveList.

So, imagine how I felt about time spent with NoveList contributors at Serious Pie. NoveList held the first (hopefully, regular?) contributor dinner there and good convo was dished up along with the amazing pizzas.

Did you know that in addition to NoveList librarians crafting title, author, and series recommendations, we also have 98 active contributors writing recommendations and NoveList content—articles, genre outlines, and Grab and Go lists.  We even have librarians who provide input into our Core Collections product. We take our recommendations seriously—like we do our pizza.

Join us! Find out more about becoming a NoveList contributor.

See you at ALA.
