See you in Nashville!

NoveList is in the house at PLA 2020!

So happy to be going to Nashville for PLA, my favorite conference. There’s something super-special about being around public librarians! Trip highlights for me will be visiting the Nashville Public Library and hopefully dashing over to Parnassus Books (note to self: snag The Dutch House for a plane ride read).

Stop by booth #1016; I’d love to meet you! For you, I’ll share badge holders, bookmarks featuring "the asset" (if you know, you know) and other NoveList goodness. And training.

Bite-sized NoveList training
(must-know NoveList tips guaranteed to transform you into a NoveList power user in 5 minutes)
Wednesday, February 26:  4:00-6:00 p.m.
Thursday, February 27: 9:00-11:00 a.m.; 3:00-4:00 p.m.
Friday, February 28: 9:00-11:00 a.m.; 12:30-1:30 p.m.

Ask us about:

  • Media Mentions in NoveList Plus
Do *your* patrons come into the library interested in a book they heard about on radio or TV, on shows like Fox News’ Fox & Friends, NPR’s Marketplace or CBS Sunday Morning?  Media Mentions will help you find these books fast in NoveList! Bonus: learn ideas for using media mentions.

  • Reader Insights in the NoveList Select Analytics Dashboard
In addition to valuable usage data such as monthly views and clicks, NoveList now offers more views data each month: your readers’ most popular titles, series and authors. Use these Reader Insights metrics to identify browsing trends and to learn what matters most to your readers.

  • LibraryAware all-templates search
Did you know that you can now browse AND search templates in LibraryAware? Whether you have a specific type of template in mind (summer reading, anyone?) or just want inspiration, searching by NoveList appeal terms will help you find a flyer template for, say, books that are upbeat, perfect for creating that Monday morning book display.

See you there!

Kathy Stewart is a NoveList Consultant. She read Royal Holiday over Christmas and is hoping to run into Jasmine Guillory. In the meantime, she’s enjoying The Coincidence of Coconut Cake.
