Much to celebrate

It's that time of year again. Halloween is in sight. November brings us Thanksgiving, Native American Heritage Month and Jewish Book Month. The holiday season is a busy time for public libraries. NoveList has you covered.

Looking for books to fill your book displays? Try these searches for a broad list of holiday books. At the results page, use the limiters on the left to narrow your results down by age level, theme, or even specific holidays (found under Subject).

  • SU holidays
  • GN Holidays and celebrations

Looking for specific holiday books? Use the following searches to diversify your displays.

  • SU Hanukkah
  • SU Diwali
  • SU Kwanzaa
  • SU Christmas

To find seasonal books use the field code SU followed by the season:

  • SU winter
  • SU summer

To put your display together in a snap, choose from our ready-to-go professionally designed templates in LibraryAware. Just select and print.

In LibraryAware select the format you are looking for such as Flyers-Signs, Flyers-Events, or Posters and enter the keyword holiday in the search box. You’ll find everything from book display signs to closed signs ready for you to customize with your dates.
