Ask us about:

  • Media Mentions
Pardon us as we toot our own horn for a minute: Media Mentions are AWESOME! This NoveList enhancement gives you the power to quickly answer that inevitable patron question about the latest titles featured recently in the media. Media Mentions highlights books that have been discussed on radio and television outlets such as Fox News’ Fox & Friends, NPR’s Marketplace, HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher, and even Bravo’s Watch what happens live with Andy Cohen! Stop by for quick tips on how to search with this new tool.
  • Reader Insights in the NoveList Select Analytics Dashboard
We launched the Analytics Dashboard in NoveList Select in the spring of 2019, giving libraries the chance to see valuable usage data such as monthly views and clicks. We recently unveiled the ability to find even deeper insights with the addition of the Readers Insights page. Libraries can now see a more detailed analysis of NoveList Select's views data, allowing you to see your readers’ most popular titles, authors, and series each month. Use these metrics to identify browsing trends and uncover interests in your community’s readers. Stop by the booth for a look at the dashboard.
  • LibraryAware all-templates search
We recently launched a shiny new search bar in LibraryAware, giving users access to one of our 7,500+ and growing templates even faster than before. Whether you’re just browsing, seeking inspiration, or looking for something specific (designs with polka dots), it’s never been easier to find just the template to fit your needs. Drop by the booth, and we can take it for a spin.

Out and about in Philadelphia
Conferences always provide excellent opportunities for the NoveList team to get out of the office, talk with our wonderful colleagues and customers, catch a slew of excellent speakers, visit some great libraries and attractions, and binge on delicious food. I have loved Julia Alvarez since being consumed by In the Time of Butterflies while in college, so I have triple-starred, circled, and underlined her Saturday lecture in my conference planner. Halle Eisenman will be diligently working with The Reading List committee. Jenny Schafer from our product management team will be around to learn more about how to make NoveList products work even better for you and your community. Our Vice President, Danielle Borasky, will be there and is always eager to hear your thoughts on NoveList.

Whether you’re out and about grabbing a cheesesteak or in a session, keep an eye out for us with our bright orange NoveList badge holders. We’d love to see (and meet) you!

Jen Heuer Scott is a NoveList Consultant. She is currently reading How to Stop Losing Your Sh*t with your Kids: A Practical Guide to Becoming a Calmer, Happier Parent, surely inspired by the 16 days spent with her three children over winter break.
