You’re probably getting questions from adult and teen readers who are in love with love -- after all, it’s February, the month of Valentine’s Day (although readers do love happy endings throughout the year).

While the love story is the central focus of books in the Romance genre, settings, time periods, and the level of sensuality a reader might be interested in vary widely (from Pride and Prejudice to 50 Shades of Grey). This can make talking the language of love, well, difficult. Whether you’re a seasoned romance genre booktalker or the non-Romance reading librarian tasked with stocking the Paranormal Romance book display, NoveList can help.  You’ll find all kinds of content, from lists and articles to printable bookmaps, to help you with not only passive RA (think content for displays and bookmark creation) but also talking points with which to have conversations with Romance readers on our Keeping Up…Romance page.

Access this page (and our six other genre pages) from either the top menu bar in NoveList and NoveList Plus or, type ‘keeping up’ in the search box, then look under Lists & Articles. And, please let us know what you think via the feedback form at the bottom.
