Full Text for Unique Rare Music Journals

This collection of more than 35 rare music journals offers searchable primary source material not covered in the RIPM Retrospective Index or the RIPM Online Archive. With extensive coverage of publications in 15 languages, it provides access to an entirely new body of literature, international in scope and not available in any other online resource or in any library.

Exclusive Content and Special Topics

Many of the journals in the RIPM e-Library of Music Periodicals deal with musical life in world capitals, including Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Brussels, Budapest, Milan, New York, Prague, Paris and St. Petersburg. Containing several monumental journals and early musicology periodicals, the database focuses on specialized topics such as instruments, music education, early periodicals and jazz.

The exclusive journal list includes those with long publication runs and those with very dense content.
