The new, clean Basic Search screen simplifies the initial search experience, without skimping on functionality. All of the familiar features in EBSCOhost are still available, from the authority files along the top of the screen, to the links under the Find field. Note that authority file (except Cited References) searching functionality will expand to include all of the databases selected.

Click on the Search Options link to choose among several Search modes, such as the new SmartText Searching, which produces complete results from partial information, and to view available Limiters for refining search results:

The Visual Search link will take you to the recently redesigned Visual Search screen.

The Preferences link will provide you with control over the look and feel of the EBSCOhost 2.0 Result List. Your preferences can be saved in your My EBSCOhost folder, for use in a future session!
