Welcome to the EBSCO Publishing's next generation of its popular EBSCOhost user interface. EBSCOhost offers a streamlined look and feel, for a technologically sophisticated, yet familiar search experience, with the built-in flexibility to provide individual user customization options.

EBSCOhost® offers a Basic, an Advanced and a Visual Search Screen. Each screen provides different options and techniques to help users maximize their search efforts.

The Advanced Search Screen provides additional (database specific) Limiters and Expanders, and a current Search History to aid in search refinement. The library administrator determines which of two different Advanced Search Screen styles is available to library users: Advanced Guided Style or the Advanced with Single Find Field design.

EBSCOhost provides convenient access to authority files along the top of the user interface screen, including a link to the New Features page, where users can sample and learn about upcoming features.

Links to open the Search Options section or select alternate screens are conveniently located under the Find field, followed by search mode options, such as Boolean or SmartText, as well as Limiters and Expanders.
