Customized content and practice tests in ELL Reference Center are designed to support ELLs’ English-language proficiency and comprehension in topics including literacy, researching, note-taking and academic writing. The intuitive, easy-to-use interface, as well as reference materials that are created specifically for ELL students and the educators that work with them, makes it simple for users to find the content they are looking for.
ELL Reference Center content covers a wide range of subject areas–including Science, Math, History, Civics, Life Skills and Literature–and is written in an age-appropriate interest level, using vocabulary and simplified structure helpful to non-native speakers.
Core curriculum content includes 1,000 ELL-specific foundation articles focusing on topics covered in the U.S. curriculum, and is supplemented by hand-selected content to help users broaden topic knowledge and hone English language skills.
