Stephen Barton, a shooting victim of last summer’s Aurora Colorado movie theater shooting, is appearing in television advertisements around the country asking that President Obama and presidential candidate Mitt Romney make gun control a national debate topic before the election.

It appears that George Zimmerman has been set free on $150,000 bail. The judge determined that he was not likely to attempt to escape from the country, and after giving certain restrictions, allowed him to post bail.
Zimmerman will now have to wear a GPS-enabled ankle bracelet so that police can monitor his location at all times, and will have to follow a very strict curfew schedule. He has relinquished his passport to the police, and will not be able...
