For libraries that are affiliated with larger systems or a consortium, EBSCO offers support for both the individual needs of the library, as well as support for the larger system as a whole, where libraries have joined together to provide services and content to patrons within their group.

Users will be exposed to each branch’s holdings and services on the front end, but will also have access to information from catalogs within the larger group when a Union catalog is loaded.

For example, library systems have the option to allow users to search for holdings at multiple library locations to maximize the value of the system’s collection.
