English Language Learner (ELL) Reference Center™

This multi-purpose information resource is designed for middle/high school students and those that are new to the English language. ELL Reference Center will help ELLs to succeed academically and in everyday life by providing assistance as they conduct research, build their background knowledge and develop study skills.

ELL Reference Center provides users with an intuitive, easy-to-use interface, as well as reference materials that are created specifically for ELL students and the educators that work with them. Customized content is designed to support ELLs' English-language proficiency and comprehension—including literacy, researching, note-taking and academic writing.

ELL Reference Center content covers a wide range of subject area topics—including Science, History, Civics, Life Skills and Literature—and is written in an age-appropriate interest level, using vocabulary and simplified structure helpful to non-native speakers.
