Walt Disney (1901-1966)
"We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths."
Walt Elias Disney was the creative genius behind such animated characters as Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck. As a cartoonist, director, producer, theme park creator, and self-described "imagineer," he created one of the first cartoons with sound, "Steamboat Willie," and the first full length cartoon film, "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs." Later in his career, while continuing to create animated films, he produced live action television and film features, like "The Parent Trap," and "The Mickey Mouse Club."
