DynaMed on Mobile Devices
DynaMed is available in a mobile-device application for Palm OS and Microsoft Mobile devices. The information below contains links to the technical requirements and installation instructions required to use DynaMed Mobile, including the instructions for downloading and installing a free trial version of DynaMed Mobile.

Note: In order to install DynaMed Mobile on a mobile device, you will need to obtain a DynaMed serial number. To request a DynaMed serial number, please follow these instructions.

Also note that during the installation process you will be prompted by Skyscape for a User ID and Password. If you do not have these login values already, you must register a new User ID and Password at that time with Skyscape for the installation process to proceed.

Supported Mobile Devices

  • Palms – Devices running Palm OS 3.5 and higher. For example: Palm m500 series, Palm m700 series, Treo series, Tungsten series, and Zire series
  • Pocket PC – Devices running Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 or Microsoft PocketPC 2000 (ARM/X-SCALE only), PocketPC 2002, PocketPC 2003, PocketPC 2003 SE.
    • Supported Devices:
      • Pocket PC 2000, Pocket PC 2002, Pocket PC 2003
      • Devices that use Intel StrongArm, X-Scale, and Samsung processors
  • Windows Smartphone
  • BlackBerry – Devices running OS 4.1 and higher
  • iPhone and iPod Touch – Native application with these features:
    • Fixed title and tool bars to simplify navigation
    • Previously-viewed topic history
    • Incremental index searching for efficient topic access
    • Modification of font size in topic view
    • Quick (A-Z) indexing
    • "See Also" links to related results
    • SmartTabs for efficient navigation
  • Android Smartphones – Devices running Android OS 1.5 or higher
Note: The Web-based version of DynaMed can be accessed with a wireless Internet connection on a variety of handheld devices.

To renew mobile access when your serial number expires
Your access to DynaMed Mobile expires one year after registration. To continue using DynaMed Mobile follow these instructions.
