The American Medical Association (AMA) allows up to 20 category 1 Continuing Medical
Education (CME) credits per year for internet point-of-care searches. DynaMed,

during practice, now offers options for gaining CME credits for internet point-of-care
searches.
Regarding CME, DynaMed provides:

- Simple-to-use data collection forms integrated with the user interface
- AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ may be awarded by any Accreditation
Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) provider
- ACCME-accredited CME providers can complete simple application to award
American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) Prescribed Credits
- AAFP and AMA approve 0.5 credits for each point-of-care learning activity
