DynaMed has earned recognition in many areas of medical informatics, and is
proud to be featured in articles from diverse peer-reviewed journals. Often these
articles focus on various elements of care, with mention of DynaMed as a resource
to use at the point-of-care to improve, change or validate clinical decisions.
Other articles may focus more heavily on point-of-care resources, their value,
and how available resources compare and contrast.
An article published in
Annals of Family Medicine
(November/December 2005) establishes DynaMed as the only evidence-based reference
shown to answer most clinical questions in primary care. Through a randomized trial,
DynaMed was shown to answer approximately 70% of unselected clinical questions in actual
use during practice. DynaMed was also shown to provide answers with a level of evidence
that meets or exceeds four other clinical references combined - 87% of the time. None of
the other references performed as well.
