IPSWICH, Mass. — April 10, 2012 — EBSCO Publishing (EBSCO) is making it easier for library staff to search for e-books and audiobooks and add them to their collections with the new EBSCOhost® Collection Manager (ECM). ECM can be used to search or browse for e-books and audiobooks by title, author, publisher and more or make selections from the Subject Sets or Featured Collections created by EBSCO’s collection development experts. ECM can also help libraries create and manage lists of titles they want to expose to patron drive acquisition (PDA), manage deposits and determine which ownership models to apply to the various e-books and audiobooks in their collection.

EBSCO Discovery Service™ Expands German Content with WTI – Frankfurt Agreement

IPSWICH, Mass. — March 29, 2012 — EBSCO Publishing (EBSCO) continues to expand its access to German content in EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS) thanks to a recent agreement with WTI-Frankfurt eG. The agreement allows content from WTI’s TEMA (Technology and Management) database to be available in the Base Index of EDS.
