EBSCO Co-ops and Internships
EBSCO partners with several colleges and universities to offer learning and growth opportunities for students in several business units including Business Development, Customer Satisfaction, Editorial, Information Technology and Sales Operations. Internships and Co-ops are available year round, on a full and part-time basis. EBSCO offers a collaborative working environment where students will be exposed to emerging technologies and innovative ideas.

API Programmer
This internship involves basic functions include developing sample applications using HTML, JavaScript, PHP with exposure to other web application programming languages such as Java and Ruby may also be required. Other tasks may include authoring FAQs, white papers, programming guides, widgets, API reference material, and other technical documentation.
Skills:- High school graduate
- Microsoft Word Use: 1+ to 2 years required
- 1+ years of experience with HTML, JavaScript, PHP, web applications, APIs, and “mashups”
ESD QA Engineer Intern (January 2013)
The ESD QA Engineer Intern will qualify applications developed by the Editorial Systems Development and Business Operations groups for use by the Business.
Skills:
- High school graduate
- Eligible candidates are enrolled in a Computer Science program at a recognized university, maintaining a B+ average or higher
- >1 year experience developing or testing Java based applications
